Sagar Optical Industries

Our workshop is located at D-2 in Sardar Udhyognagar, just off Ajwa Road. It’s an industrial area, so there’s always the sound of trucks and other shops working nearby. Sagar Optical Industries has been operating from this unit for years. It’s not a showroom where you come to browse; it’s more of a place where things actually get made. We have a couple of machines that hum along all day. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, especially in the summer, but we keep the fans going. The floor is concrete and shows its age with some cracks here and there. We deal with a lot of parts and materials that come in through the main gate of the estate. The guys who work here have been with us for a long time. They know their way around the equipment without needing much instruction. We keep our supplies stacked in the back corner. Sometimes things get a little disorganized when a big shipment arrives, but we sort it out eventually. Being on Ajwa Road makes it easy for the delivery vans to find us, though the traffic can be a headache in the evenings. We don't spend money on fancy signs or shiny furniture. We just focus on the orders we have on the bench. It’s just a normal day-to-day operation here at Sardar Udhyognagar, keeping things moving as best as we can.
