Our base is at House No D - 66 inside Shivam Society in Vadodara. The pin code here is 390002. Being part of Safexpress Pvt Ltd, we deal with a lot of boxes and shipping schedules, but our specific office is right in the middle of a residential society. This makes it a bit different from a standard warehouse. We have to be careful not to block the neighbors' driveways when the smaller vans come by to pick up documents or small parcels. The office itself is just a few rooms converted into a workspace with some sturdy tables and a lot of filing cabinets. It is often quite warm in Vadodara, so our AC works overtime to keep us from melting while we check the shipping logs. We have a small porch where we sometimes sit to catch a breeze and talk about the day's deliveries. There is a lot of paperwork involved in what we do, so there are always printers humming in the background. Most of us live nearby, so the commute is not too bad. We have a local lady who comes in to clean the floors every morning. It is a simple life here in the society. We don't have any big corporate slogans on the walls, just a calendar and maybe a map of the city. We just make sure the packages get to the right doors without any delays or mistakes.
