Sachin Auto

Sachin Auto is located over in the Raopura area. We are part of the Sai Kunj Cooperative Housing Society, specifically in the New Bagikhana section. If you are standing at the Polo Ground, just look across and you will see where we are. It’s a good spot because everyone knows the Polo Ground. We deal with auto parts and repairs. The shop is usually a bit greasy because that’s the nature of working on cars and bikes all day. We have tools scattered around, but we know where everything is. It’s a local business, mostly serving the people who live in Raopura or work nearby. We don't have a big waiting room with a TV. People usually just stand around and chat while we look at their engines. It can get a bit crowded when we have three or four vehicles in at once. We started this small and it’s stayed pretty much the same over the years. We know most of the regulars by their first names. New Bagikhana is a nice neighborhood, though it gets busy when there are events at the ground. We don't do much in terms of marketing. Most people just hear about us from their neighbors. We just try to do an honest job and get people back on the road. It’s hard work, but we like being our own bosses. We are usually here till late to finish up the bikes.
