You can find us at A/2/236 in the GIDC Estate in Nandesari. If you’ve ever been to this part of the industrial zone, you know it’s a landscape of pipes, tanks, and trucks. Our site is a practical space where we handle chemical materials every day. The ground is mostly concrete, and there are blue drums stacked up in the yard. We all wear heavy boots and safety gear, which gets a bit uncomfortable when the Gujarat sun is beating down on us. The office is just a small room with a couple of desks and a filing cabinet that’s seen better days. We spend a lot of time outside monitoring the equipment or checking the storage levels. It’s noisy because of the nearby factories, but we don't notice it much anymore. Lunch is usually a quick affair brought from home, eaten in the shade if we can find any. We have a small crew, and everyone knows their job. There’s no big corporate hierarchy here; we just talk to each other across the yard. The air always has a bit of a sharp scent to it, typical for Nandesari. We focus on the daily tasks, making sure the valves are closed and the shipments are ready for the trucks that come in the evening. It’s just a regular industrial day for all of us.
