Our focus is on the biology side of agriculture, which means a lot of technical work that isn't always easy to explain to neighbors. We’ve been at this location for a while. Padra Road is always busy with trucks and commuters, but once you step inside our place, it’s a bit quieter. We aren't a huge operation. It’s just a handful of us making sure the biology part of the farming stays on track. It involves a lot of patience. Sometimes experiments don't go the way we want, and we have to start over. That’s part of the job, really. We don't wear suits or anything like that; usually, it’s just practical clothes for working with samples. We like being in Gujarat because the farming community here is so active. There’s always someone asking questions or looking for advice. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. We just write down our findings and keep our records straight. It’s a quiet life, mostly, just focusing on the science behind the crops. If you’re ever driving down Padra Road, we are tucked away in there. We just keep our heads down and do the work we’ve been assigned for the week and the month ahead.
