Saarthi Industries

We are over on Sion Trombay Road, specifically at 605/23 C in the Makarpura area. Saarthi Industries is basically a place where we get things made. The machines are usually running from early in the morning. It can get pretty loud in the workshop, so we usually have to step outside if we need to talk on the phone properly. We’ve been at this for a while now. The space isn’t huge, but we make it work. Every corner is filled with parts or raw materials waiting to be processed. We have a small team here. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad unless the traffic on the main road is backed up, which happens a lot. We do a lot of metal work and parts manufacturing. It’s a dirty job sometimes. Your hands get greasy and there’s always metal shavings on the floor that need sweeping. We don't have a big fancy lobby. You just walk in and someone will help you. We try to keep our head down and finish the orders on time. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we spend the whole afternoon trying to fix it ourselves. That’s just how it goes when you’re running a small industrial unit. We keep a kettle in the corner for tea. It’s a decent place to work and we know what we’re doing. We don't bother with much else.
