S M Patel here. My office is located on the first floor of the Balaji Complex on Sant Kabir Road. It is a very busy building and there are always people coming and going from the different shops downstairs. Being on the first floor is fine, though I tell people the stairs can be a bit steep if they are not used to them. I have been based in this complex for quite a long time now. Sant Kabir Road is always full of traffic and noise, so there is never a dull moment. I do not have a big staff working for me, just two people who help with the paperwork and keeping things sorted. The office is pretty basic and the furniture has seen better days, but it works for what we need. I do not see the point in buying expensive things just to look fancy. Most of the people who come to see me are from the local neighborhood or run small shops nearby. We handle the daily work as it comes in and try to keep things simple. Sometimes the power goes out in the building or the internet gets slow, and we just have to wait for it to come back. That is just how it goes in a busy place like this.
