Our spot is over in the GSFC Colony, specifically at C/31 in Moti Khavdi. This is part of the Sikka Unit area in Jamnagar. Living or working in a colony like this has its own rhythm. Everyone kind of knows everyone else, or at least they recognize the faces. It's a bit different from a big city office because we are tucked away near the industrial plants. Rubamin Ltd, Halol has this branch here to be close to the action in Sikka. The weather can be quite salty since we aren't far from the coast. It’s a lot of grey buildings and green patches where people try to grow gardens in the colony. We spend our mornings checking files and talking to people coming in from the plant. It's a steady life. There’s a canteen nearby where most of us grab tea in the afternoons. Sometimes it's loud with the machinery in the distance, but you get used to the hum after a week or two. We don't have a big reception desk or anything. You just walk in and someone will be there at a desk. It’s a practical setup for the kind of work we do here. Jamnagar is a busy place for industry, and Moti Khavdi is right in the middle of it all. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily paperwork. There is always a lot of dust from the road, but we just wipe the desks and keep going.
