Rishi Fibc Solutions (P) Ltd. is located on the Mhuvad-Ranu Road, right in the village area of Ranu near Padra. It’s a bit of a drive out from the main city, and you see a lot of fields along the way before you hit the industrial sheds. We make those big industrial bags, the kind that can hold a ton of weight. Our facility is quite large because the bags take up a lot of space once they are finished. There are rows and rows of sewing machines, and the ladies from the nearby villages are very fast with them. The sound of the needles punching through the thick fabric is something you hear all day long. We have to be very careful with the straps because if those aren't sewn right, the whole bag is useless. The air inside is usually filled with tiny bits of plastic thread. We have a big yard where the finished bales are stacked up high. It’s a quiet area outside, but inside it’s always buzzing with activity. We don't have any big corporate policies that make things complicated. If something needs doing, we just talk it over and get to it. Most of the staff has been here since the beginning, so it feels like a small community rather than just a workplace.
