Rima Transformers And Conductros (P) Ltd. is over at 18-D, Phase Ii, in the Peenya Industrial Area. Peenya is a huge place, and it can be pretty overwhelming with all the heavy industry around. Our workshop is usually buzzing with the sound of winding machines and the smell of oil. We deal with transformers and conductors, which is heavy, serious work. It’s not the kind of thing you can do halfway. The guys on the floor are usually covered in grease or copper dust by the end of the shift. We have a small office area at 18-D where we keep the blueprints and the technical specs. It’s pretty basic—just some metal desks and a lot of filing cabinets. We’ve been part of this industrial area for a good while. The roads around here get pretty bad during the monsoon, but we still make it in. We don't really have a marketing team or anything like that. We just rely on the work we do. Most of our days are spent checking coils or testing the units before they go out. It’s a lot of manual labor and technical double-checking. We have our tea breaks out by the gate. It’s a tough environment, but it’s what we know. We just focus on making sure the transformers actually work like they should. It’s a long day, but we feel good when a big unit is finally ready to ship out. We usually finish up around six or seven in the evening and lock everything up tight.
