Up here in Padra, at 2 202, things move at a slightly different pace than the big cities. Reo Gpd Inductive Components Pvt Ltd is our small slice of the electronics world. We deal with coils and components that go into larger machines. It’s very detailed work. You spend hours looking at wire and magnets, making sure everything is wound correctly. The lighting isn't always the best, but we've added some extra lamps to help with the fine work. It gets quiet in the workshop when everyone is focused. We usually have the radio playing in the background to keep things from getting too dull. Most of us live nearby, so the commute isn't too bad, which is nice. We don't do much advertising or anything. Usually, people just find us because they need a specific part for their project. The paperwork side of things is handled on an old computer that takes forever to start up. We keep a logbook for all the parts coming in and going out. It is a very basic operation. Sometimes we have to wait a week for specific copper wire to arrive from a supplier. When it does, we all buckle down to catch up. It’s just honest, technical work in a quiet corner of town. It doesn't need to be any more complicated than that.
