Rathava Kachu Sisala

I’m Kachu Sisala Rathava and I run my business here in Pavijetpur. It’s a small town and everyone pretty much knows everyone else. I don’t have a big fancy address with a lot of numbers. Just being here in Pavijetpur is enough for people to find me. I’ve lived here my whole life and started this business because there was a need for it. It’s not a big operation. It’s just me and sometimes a helper if things get really busy. My workspace is simple. I have the tools I need and a place to sit. That’s about it. The weather can get really hot here, so I have a big fan that runs all day long. It makes a lot of noise but you get used to it. I like being my own boss. It means I can take a break when I need to and talk to the neighbors. Most of my day is spent dealing with locals who need help with various things. I don’t use a computer for everything; I still like writing things down in my ledger. It feels more reliable that way. I’m not looking to expand or become a big company. I just want to keep doing what I’m doing right here. It’s a quiet life, but it suits me. Sometimes the rain makes the road outside a bit muddy, but we just clean our boots and get on with the day’s tasks. It keeps me active and connected to the people here.
