Rashmi Jain & Associates is over in Alkapuri at Shop No G/11. We are inside Stop Plaza, which is part of the Offtel Tower building. It is a very busy spot because the railway station is so close by. You can always hear the city moving around you. Being on the ground floor makes it easy for people to just pop in when they are passing through. The office isn't very large, but we make the most of the space we have. There are desks for the staff and a place for clients to sit while we go over their papers. It’s a bit of a cramped feeling when we have a lot of files, but we manage. Alkapuri is the kind of place where everyone is in a hurry, so we try to be quick with what we do. We handle the usual things like audits and tax filings. There’s no marketing department here. We just rely on people knowing where we are and what we do. Most of our day is spent typing away or talking on the phone to sort out some issue or another. It’s a real office with real problems and real work. We don’t try to make it look like something it isn’t. It’s just a shop where we do professional work for the local community in Vadodara.
