Rajendra Sinh Padhiyar

I’m Rajendra Sinh Padhiyar and my office is at A / 4 in Fatehgunj. If you know the area, you probably know Swati Society; we are located right behind it. Fatehgunj is a part of town that has changed a lot, but this little pocket stays pretty much the same. It’s an older building with high ceilings, which helps keep it cool when the weather gets hot. I have a big old window that looks out onto a wall, but at least there is a little bit of a breeze. The plumbing in the bathroom can be a bit moody, and the floor tiles are a bit worn down from years of walking back and forth. I don’t mind it though. It’s a place with some character. I’ve got some old files stacked up in the corner that I really need to sort through one day. Mostly, it’s just me here, making calls and taking notes. The people in Swati Society are good neighbors, very quiet and keep to themselves. Sometimes I hear people talking in the alleyway, but it’s mostly just peaceful. I didn’t want a fancy office in a mall or a big glass tower. This place feels more real to me. It’s where I’ve put in a lot of hard work over the years, and I’m happy with it. It’s a bit hard to find at night because the streetlights are dim, but it is home.
