Rajendra Goswami

I am Rajendra Goswami and my workspace is located over on Harni Road, right by the Sion Bandra Link Road in Mukund Nagar. It’s a very busy spot because of the link road traffic, but we have the Hanumanji Temple right beside us, which gives the place a different feel. In the mornings, you can hear the bells and the prayers while we are starting our day. It’s a nice contrast to the sound of the cars and trucks zooming by. The office itself is quite simple. We have some sturdy desks and a few chairs for visitors. It gets a bit dusty because of all the vehicles passing so close, so we have to wipe everything down pretty often. I’ve lived and worked around here for years, so I know the shortcuts to avoid the worst of the traffic. The temple is a good landmark, so no one ever gets lost trying to find us. We don't have any big corporate signs or fancy decorations. It’s just a functional space where we get our work done every day. Sometimes when it’s hot, I go and sit in the shade of the temple for a few minutes to clear my head. It’s a busy life, but being tucked in next to the temple makes it feel a bit more grounded. We just keep things moving and do our best. The local shopkeepers are all friends of mine, which makes it nice.
