Associated Electricals

If you ever find yourself on R. C. Dutt Road, you might have seen the Alkapuri Arcade. We are tucked away in room A-305, right across from Hotel Welcome. Associated Electricals has been running out of this office for a few years now. It’s not a huge shop floor or anything like that, mostly just desks and shelves full of electrical components and catalogs. We spend most of our time dealing with contractors and local builders who need specific parts for their projects. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs more than we’d like. It’s a busy spot, especially with the hotel right there across the street. We handle a lot of phone orders and logistics from here. It gets a bit crowded when a shipment comes in, but we make it work. We aren't really about the bells and whistles of a big corporate firm. We just know our electrical gear and try to keep the inventory moving. Some days are slow, others we can barely keep up with the calls coming in. It’s just me and a couple of others keeping the lights on and making sure the orders go out to the right sites on time. We often have tea while going through the inventory lists to make sure we haven't missed anything for the morning deliveries.
