The workshop is located in the GIDC area of Makarpura at C-1/879/2. It is quite loud there most of the time because the machines run all day. We started doing plastic work a long time ago. My brother and I manage the daily stuff. Most of our day is spent checking the molds and making sure the raw materials are coming in on time. It gets very hot in the summer inside the unit. We usually have the big fans running, but they don't do much. People from other units nearby often stop by for a chat or to borrow a tool. We make all sorts of small plastic items. Some are for bigger companies and some are just general things. Our floor is always covered in those tiny plastic pellets. You have to be careful not to slip. We don’t have a big office room. There is just a small desk in the corner with a dusty computer where we handle the invoices. It’s a lot of manual labor and keeping an eye on the temperature settings. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend half the night fixing it. That’s just how it goes in Makarpura Gidc. We’ve lived around here our whole lives, so we know the area. If you need to drop off a sample, just come to the gate and ask for Purav. We usually have some tea around four o’clock, and anyone who is visiting is welcome to a cup. The yard outside has some scrap metal piled up that we really should clear out one day.
