Our office for Priyanka Constructions (Baroda) Pvt. Ltd. is located at 109, Freedom Fighter Society, which is near Subhanpura in the Samta area of Baroda. We operate out of a space care of Rajendra Shah and Rajesh Shah. It’s a quiet residential kind of area, which is a nice change from the loud construction sites we spend our days on. Working in construction means you're always dealing with moving parts. One day it's a problem with the crane and the next day a shipment of bricks is late. We just handle it as it comes. We aren't a big flashy firm with a lobby and a receptionist. It’s more of a family-style setup where we know everyone’s name. We’ve been in the Baroda area for a long time and we’ve seen the city change a lot. Our work contributes a little bit to that, which is a good feeling. We don't spend money on marketing or polished presentations. We’d rather just show people the buildings we’ve finished. If you come by Freedom Fighter Society, you’ll find us doing the boring but necessary stuff like payroll and planning. It’s a practical way to run a business. We try to be honest with people about how long things take and what they cost. There’s no point in sugarcoating it. Construction is hard, but we enjoy the challenge of getting a project done.
