Our place is over in Lakulesh Park Society. If you know where Sadhu Vasvani School is, then finding us on New Vip Road isn't too hard. It’s a busy part of Vadodara these days. We spend most of our time in the lab or talking to people who have trouble with their breathing. It’s a research centre but it feels more like a regular office where we keep a lot of files and equipment. The road outside is always noisy with scooters and cars going toward the VIP road. Sometimes the students from the school nearby make a lot of noise during their break times. We’ve been here for some time now. The building is simple. We don’t have those big shiny lobbies you see in the city centre. We just have our desks, the testing machines, and a few chairs for people to wait. It gets dusty sometimes because of the construction nearby, so we are always cleaning the windows. Most of the staff live nearby, so we walk or cycle in. We do a lot of paperwork because the research side of things requires it. It’s just honest work. We see people from all over the neighborhood. Sometimes it gets crowded in the mornings, but we manage. We aren’t trying to be anything other than a local spot where people can get their lungs checked out or participate in our studies. We just open up and do what’s on the schedule for that day.
