Prakash R Bhatt

If you know the Vadodara Nayay Mandir Court area, you know how busy it gets. I am right at number 77, directly opposite the Bar Association. Prakash R Bhatt is the name, and this has been my base for longer than I care to count. The noise from the court and the lawyers talking outside is constant, but you get used to it after a week or two. It’s a very practical place to be. There’s always someone running by with a file or a coffee. My office is small and usually stacked high with papers. I don’t bother with fancy carpets or expensive paintings because they just get dusty with all the foot traffic. I spend my days meeting people and trying to keep everything organized. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important to the folks who come to see me. Being right across from the Bar Association means I see a lot of familiar faces every single day. We often share a quick tea at the corner while discussing the latest news. I don don’t use a lot of big words or try to impress anyone. I just tell people the facts and help them out where I can. The building is old and the elevators are slow, so I usually just take the stairs. It keeps me moving. It’s a lived-in space that works for what I need and I plan on staying right here.
