We are located at 262 GIDC Estate in the Por-ramangamdi area, near Por in the Vadodara district. It’s a bit of a distance from the center of town, but being in the GIDC means we’re right where the action is. We specialize in supports, which is basically a lot of heavy metalwork and welding. The air in the shop always smells a bit like ozone and burnt metal, which is something you just get used to after a week of working here. Our building isn't anything special to look at—just a standard industrial shed with a big rolling door that we keep open for the breeze. We have a small team of welders and loaders who have been doing this for a long time. The office is tucked away in one corner and it’s usually filled with blueprints and coffee cups. We don't really have a big reception area, so if someone stops by, they usually just talk to us right on the shop floor. Dealing with the steel suppliers can be a headache sometimes, especially when the prices change every other week, but we manage to keep things moving. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do our work, get the supports out to the sites, and make sure everything stays standing. It’s a dusty, loud job, but it’s what we know how to do.
