Hindustan Biosynth Ltd.

Our workplace is spread across several plots, from 157 to 174, in the GIDC Industrial Estate at Por Ramangamdi. It is a fairly large space because of the specific work we do at Hindustan Biosynth. Being out in Por means we have a bit more room to breathe than we would if we were in the middle of the city. The commute is a bit long for some of the staff, but the air feels a little clearer out here. We spend the majority of our time out on the floor or in the warehouse sections. There is a lot to keep track of with the processing and all the materials coming in. It is not an easy job. Most of it is manual or technical work. We have a strict routine that we follow every day to make sure nothing gets missed or messed up. The buildings are plain, just standard industrial structures, but they work for what we need to do. We aren't really into fancy decorations or having big signs out front. Most of the people who come here are suppliers or the guys driving the transport trucks. We have a small office area for the administrative side of things. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when all the machines are running at the same time. We have a good group of workers here. Many have been with us for ten years or more. We just get on with the job.
