Rex - Tone Industries Ltd. is out in the Gidc Estate in Ramangamdi. If you are familiar with the Vadodara area, you know Por is a bit of a drive out. We are at plot number 5. Being in an industrial estate means everything is very functional. There are lots of other factories around us, so the air usually smells like oil or smoke, and there is always a low hum of machinery in the background. It’s not the kind of place you come for a quiet walk. We spend our days managing the floor and making sure things are running okay. The office part is just a small section of the building. We also have that off. add. listed, but this is where the real work happens. It gets very hot during the Gujarat summers, and the metal roofs in the estate don't help much. We usually eat our lunch together in a small corner where it’s a bit cooler. The commute can be a bit long depending on where you are coming from in Vadodara, but we are used to it by now. The roads in Ramangamdi can be a bit rough, especially after the monsoon, so we have to watch out for the potholes. It’s a hardworking environment, no doubt about that. We don't have any decorative plants or fancy paintings on the walls, just the equipment we need and our desks. It’s a straightforward industrial setup where we just get on with the job.
