Elastoplast Industries

Down at 195, G.I.D.C. Por Ramangamdi, right off the N.H. No. 8, you will find our setup for Elastoplast Industries. Being near the highway makes it easy for trucks to get in and out, which is helpful because we move a lot of material. We have been in this spot for quite some time now. It is an industrial area, so it is not exactly quiet or pretty, but it works for what we do. We handle a lot of plastic and rubber-related stuff, which means there is a specific smell to the air around here. Most people who work here are locals from the surrounding villages. We don't have any big corporate goals, we just want to keep the factory running and the paychecks coming on time for everyone. Sometimes the equipment acts up and we have to spend the whole night fixing a press, but that is just part of the trade. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the work while we are on shift. There is no front desk with a receptionist, usually, you just walk in and find whoever is available in the warehouse. We keep things pretty basic. It is a honest day’s work for honest pay. We do not try to be something we are not. We are just a small manufacturer trying to stay busy in a competitive market. It keeps us on our toes.
