Ami Fabrication

If you walk down into the Gidc Estate, you’ll find us at Plot No. L-24/3. It’s a bit of a maze back here but once you know the turns it is easy enough to spot Ami Fabrication. The building is older, and you can tell we do a lot of heavy lifting and metal work just by looking at the floor. There is usually a bit of iron smell in the air and the sound of tools hitting metal. We don’t have a big office or anything, just a desk in the corner and plenty of space for the work to happen. The guys are usually busy with their hands, so the place is a bit messy with scraps and tools lying around. We keep the main doors open for the breeze, even though it brings in some dust from the street. It gets loud sometimes, especially when the neighbors are also running their machines, but we are used to it. Sometimes the rain gets in a little bit under the door if it’s a real storm. We just mop it up and keep going. The L-24/3 spot is home for us during the week. We drink a lot of water and try to keep things moving. There isn't much to say other than we are here every day except Sundays. It’s a practical place for practical work. We stay busy with the orders that come in and try to stay out of the afternoon sun when it hits the roof.
