At Gama Exports Pvt. Ltd., we are situated in Aangan Apartment, specifically unit number 12. This is part of the Lmt Society on Productryly Road. It is out near the Poicha post office and the Nandesari crossing, right by National Highway No. 8. Being so close to the highway is very practical for us because we are constantly dealing with transport and shipping issues. The crossing can be a bit of a nightmare during peak hours, but it is just part of the daily routine now. Our office is more like a converted apartment, so it has a bit of a homey feel compared to those big glass buildings in the city center. We have a few rooms set up for different tasks, but mostly we all end up sitting together in the main area to talk through the day's shipments. The walls are lined with maps and calendars that are marked up with various dates and times. It can get a little loud with the highway noise and the fans running, but we don't mind it. We have been here for a good while, and we know most of the people in the society. Sometimes we walk over to the post office to drop things off, which is a nice break from the screens. We just focus on keeping the goods moving and making sure the documents are filed correctly before we head out for the evening.
