Out here in Ankleshwar, it’s all about the industry. Our place is Patkar Extrusions Ltd, and you can find us at Plot No. 1701 in the GIDC area. It’s a big industrial zone, and 1701 is a decent-sized plot. We do extrusion work, which involves a lot of machinery and heat. The factory floor is loud and there’s always something running. It’s not the kind of place you’d come for a quiet chat. We spend most of our time out on the floor or in the small cabin we use for an office. The GIDC roads can be a bit rough, especially after the monsoon, but we are used to it by now. We’ve been operating from this plot for quite a while. The machinery takes up most of the space. We have a small crew and everyone knows their job. There’s no big hierarchy here; we all just pitch in to make sure the production stays on schedule. Ankleshwar can be very hot, so the factory gets a bit stuffy, but we have big exhaust fans to help with that. It’s honest, hard work. We don't put out fancy brochures or anything. People who need extrusion services usually find us through word of mouth or because they are also located in the GIDC. It’s just a standard industrial setup at 1701. We focus on getting the measurements right and keeping the machines in good shape.
