Patel Pipe Company

You can find us at No. 10 in the Visnu Industrial Estate. It is basically just a big warehouse full of pipes. We are Patel Pipe Company, and we have been in this industrial area for quite some time. The floor is concrete and there are stacks of metal and plastic piping everywhere you look. It is not the kind of place you come to for a comfortable chat, but we are always around. Most of our day is spent loading or unloading trucks that pull up to the bay. It is heavy work and your hands get dirty pretty fast. We don't have fancy office furniture or air conditioning that works all that well in the summer. We just focus on the inventory we have and making sure people get what they need. Sometimes the weather makes things difficult, like when it rains and the yard gets muddy, but we keep moving anyway. We have a small desk near the front where we keep the logs, but mostly we are out on the floor. It is a simple setup. We know most of the other guys working in the other units around the estate. We are just a small crew doing the basic work of moving pipes from one place to another. It is quiet when there are no trucks, which is when we usually try to organize the stacks a bit better. That is about it.
