Patel Associates Architects

We've been at Akota T 6 for a while now. Patel Associates Architects is just a small team of us working on building designs and drawings. Usually, you'll find us hunched over desks or talking to contractors about how things are going on-site. It gets pretty busy here, especially when deadlines are tight, but we try to keep things organized. People stop by the office to talk about their houses or shops they want to fix up. We don't have a big fancy lobby or anything like that. It's mostly just folders, rolls of blueprints, and a few coffee mugs scattered around. We know the local area well since we've lived and worked around Akota for years. Most of our day is spent figuring out where walls should go or how to make a space feel less cramped. Sometimes the permit process takes forever, which is frustrating for everyone, but we just deal with it. It’s a lot of drafting and checking measurements over and over. If you're looking for us, we are right there in the T 6 building. We aren't trying to do anything groundbreaking, just solid work that stays standing and looks okay. It’s a job we enjoy, even when the computers act up or a client changes their mind for the tenth time. We just keep at it and try to get the drawings right so the builders don't have too many questions later on.
