PALVI MASTERBATCHES PRIVATE LIMITED

We are set up over at Plot No. 330 in the GIDC area of Manjusar. Palvi Masterbatches is basically run out of the same spot as Palvi Industries. Being in an industrial estate means there is always noise and trucks moving around, but that is just part of the job. We work with plastics and colors, mostly focusing on the masterbatch side of things. It’s messy work sometimes, and our clothes often end up with bits of dust or pigment on them by the end of the shift. We aren't some high-tech lab with white coats; it’s more of a hands-on production environment. The heat in the warehouse can get pretty intense during the summer months, but we’ve got a couple of big fans that help a little. We have a core group of workers who have been here since the start. We don't bother with big speeches or fancy brochures. We just look at what the customer needs for their plastic products and we try to get the mix right. It takes a lot of trial and error occasionally. Sometimes a batch doesn't come out quite like we wanted, so we have to fix it and move on. That is just how manufacturing goes. We keep our overhead low and just focus on the machines and the materials. It’s a practical life here in Manjusar, and we’re okay with that. We don't have a big cafeteria, so we all just sit together in the small office area to eat our tiffins. It’s a good way to talk about things that aren't just about plastic pellets.
