Kapil Safty Shoe Company is situated on the Padra Dabhasa Road. We’ve been here for a while, providing work footwear to the people who need it in this industrial corridor. Our building isn't anything special to look at, just a place where we store and sell boots and shoes. If you drive down the road, you’ll see our sign. Inside, it smells like leather and rubber, which is something you get used to after five minutes. We carry different types of safety gear, mainly focusing on what the workers in the nearby plants require. It’s mostly just us and the inventory. We spend a lot of time checking sizes and making sure the soles are thick enough for the jobs people do around here. We don't have a website with a lot of bells and whistles; most people just stop by while they're on their way to or from a shift. The road outside can get pretty dusty when the trucks go by, so we're always cleaning the front windows. We aren't trying to be a big fashion brand or anything like that. We just sell shoes that keep your feet safe while you’re working. Sometimes we have a chat with the regulars about how the local factories are doing. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way because we can keep an eye on everything ourselves. We aren't into big sales pitches, we just show you what we have on the shelves.
