Onio Chemical

Onio Chemical is right in the middle of Sai Baba Market here in Vadodara. If you know the market, you know it’s always crowded with people and scooters. Our shop isn't very big, and it’s usually packed with bags and containers of different chemicals. We’ve been here for a while, serving whoever walks in from the street. It’s not a polished corporate office; it’s a working shop. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, and sometimes we have to use a shaky ladder to get things down. The noise from the market outside never really stops, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We don’t have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is kept. When a customer comes in, we just talk to them directly. No fancy sales pitches or brochures. We sell what people need for their small businesses or workshops. Sometimes it’s a bit dusty, and the billing is done by hand or on an old computer that takes its time. We like being in Sai Baba Market because everyone knows everyone else. It’s a friendly place even if it’s chaotic. We aren't looking to expand into a giant company. We’re just happy being a local fixture in Vadodara and helping out the regulars who’ve been coming to us for years. We stay open until the market closes, six days a week. That is our routine.
