Nikhit Book Stole

My shop is called Nikhit Book Stole, and you can find it in the Karelibaug area, right near Crawford Market. It is a bit of a squeeze inside because I have shelves reaching all the way to the ceiling, and they are all packed with books. I have everything from school textbooks to old novels that have been sitting there for years waiting for a reader. The air smells like old paper, which is something I have grown to like over the years. I spend a lot of my time dusting the covers or trying to find a specific book that someone is looking for. Sometimes people come in and just want to browse for an hour, and I usually just let them be. I remember where almost everything is, even if it looks like a total mess to anyone else walking in. The market outside is always loud with people shouting, but in here, between the rows of books, it is a little bit quieter. I usually sit behind a small wooden desk near the front door. Students come in a lot during the exam season, looking for guides or second-hand copies of their required reading for school. I try to keep the prices fair because I know how it is for them. It is just me running the place most of the time, so if I am out for lunch, I just pull the gate shut for a bit.
