Nij Chemicals

Nij Chemicals is located up on the 4th floor of Eagle Apt in the Fatehgunj area. It is funny because people sometimes miss the entrance since the building looks like a regular residential place from the street. Being in room 403 means we have to wait for the elevator a lot or just take the stairs if we are in a big hurry. The office is full of files and some chemical samples we keep on the side shelves in little glass jars. We deal with different industrial supplies and most of our day is spent on the landline or writing down orders in big blue ledgers. Fatehgunj is a very lively part of town so there is always noise from the traffic coming up through the windows even when they are closed. We have been here for a long time and the walls could probably use a new coat of paint but we are usually too busy with paperwork to worry about that. Sometimes the delivery guys get confused about which wing of the building we are in. We keep a small electric kettle for making tea because it helps us get through the long afternoons when the sun hits the office. It is not a fancy corporate setup with glass walls or anything like that. It is just a practical place where we get our work done and handle the logistics for our clients. Most people have been calling us for years.
