We are located at Ajwa Road, specifically at B 65. It is a place where we spend a lot of time with very small things. Netra Kamal Model Maker is exactly what it sounds like. We build scale models of buildings, factories, and residential complexes. Our hands are almost always covered in glue or bits of plastic and wood. It is a very slow and quiet kind of work. We do not have a lot of visitors, mostly just architects or developers who need a physical version of their designs. The workspace is filled with tiny trees, miniature cars, and small sheets of acrylic. We have to be very careful because one wrong cut means starting the whole piece over again. It takes a lot of patience, which not everyone has these days. We do not have a big marketing budget or a fancy website. Most people find us through word of mouth or by seeing our work at an exhibition. We have been at this for a long time and our eyes are not as good as they used to be, but we still enjoy the process of making things. Sometimes a single model takes weeks to finish. We sit under bright lamps and work until the job is done. It is a niche business, but it keeps us busy. If you come by, watch your step because there are often small scraps on the floor.
