Down in Baroda, specifically around the Alembic Nagar area in Gorwa, you’ll find our office at number 13. Neptune Realty Pvt.Ltd isn’t one of those glass-tower places. It’s a solid building where we spend our hours looking over blueprints and property documents. The Gorwa area is pretty established, so there’s always something going on nearby. It gets quite hot in the summer, and the old AC in the corner makes a bit of a rattling noise, but it works well enough. We have a few desks pushed together and stacks of folders that probably need sorting one of these days. People come in to talk about land or houses, and we usually just sit them down and have a chat. There’s no big sales pitch here. We just show what’s available and talk about the local area. Most of us have lived in Baroda for years, so we know the streets pretty well. The tea guy comes by twice a day, which is usually the highlight of the afternoon. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out at different sites checking on things. It’s a lot of walking and driving around in the dust. Sometimes we stay late to finish the paperwork, but mostly we try to head home before the traffic gets too crazy. It’s just a normal workplace with people trying to get things done right. We just do our bit and keep the office running as best we can.
