Uniqui Chem Products

Our workshop is located at Plot No. 125/3 in the GIDC area. It’s not a huge plot, but Uniqui Chem Products fits in there just fine for what we do. We have to be careful with how we use the space because it’s a bit tight with all the equipment. There are barrels and containers tucked into every available corner. The floor is concrete and we try to keep it clean, but things get spilled sometimes despite our best efforts. We have to wear boots and gloves most of the time, which can be a bit annoying when it’s humid out in the summer. The office is just a tiny desk near the front door where the phone sits. It rings more than you’d think for such a small place. We spend a lot of our time checking levels and making sure everything is stored the right way. The air has a bit of a sharp smell to it, but you get used to it after a few minutes. We have a small window that looks out onto the street, but it’s usually too dusty to see much. There’s a lot of heavy traffic on the road outside with all the other factories nearby. We aren’t a big corporation or anything, just a few people working together to get the orders out on time. It’s a lot of standing on your feet all day and moving things around manually. We close up around six and head home like everyone else. It is a simple operation.
