Gujarat Pestichem Industries

Our place is out in the Nandesari Industrial Estate, specifically at number 111. If you know Vadodara, you know this area is full of factories and warehouses. We have been working out of this unit for a good while now. We handle chemicals and things related to pest control, which is why we have the name Pestichem. The office is small and usually smells a bit like the materials we work with, but you get used to it after a few minutes. We spend most of our time dealing with the production side of things. It’s a lot of drums, labels, and making sure the mixtures are correct. It’s dusty out here on the industrial estate roads, and there are always trucks moving back and forth. We aren't some massive corporation with a glass building. It’s just a practical brick-and-mortar unit where we get the work done. The staff is local, and we all just show up, do our shifts, and go home. Sometimes the electricity goes out for an hour, and we just sit outside and talk. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just make the products and ship them out to the people who order them. It's honest work and it keeps us busy. The gate is a bit rusty, but it still locks fine. We have some old desks and a computer that takes a minute to start up. That's just how it is. We’ve been here for years now.
