Diamond Chemical

We are located at C1/K/8, 10, and 11 in the Gidc. Having three units sounds like a lot, but they are all connected in a way that makes sense for our daily routine. It’s a lot of floor space to keep track of. Working with chemicals means we have to be careful, so we spend a lot of time checking containers and making sure everything is sealed up right. The smell of the warehouse is something you just get used to after a couple of days. It’s a bit sharp, but it’s the smell of work. Most of our guys have been here since the early days. We aren't trying to be some giant global brand. We are just a local business trying to keep the wheels turning. The K block can be a bit quiet compared to the main roads, which is nice because we don’t have as many trucks blocking our entrance. We don't have a receptionist or a lobby with chairs. If someone comes by, they usually just walk into the main unit and look for the manager. It’s very informal. We focus on getting the drums loaded and the paperwork signed. Sometimes the heat in the units gets a bit much, so we take long breaks in the shade during the afternoon. It is a practical way of living. We just do what we do and try not to make a big deal out of it.
