Baroda Dye Chem

Baroda Dye Chem is located at C-1B, 128/28 in the Nandeshari Gidc. Being in the chemical zone means things can get a bit interesting with the smells and the safety protocols we have to follow. We deal with dyes and various chemicals, so there’s always a lot of barrels and drums sitting around the place. We have a small lab area where we check the colors, but it’s mostly just a practical space with a lot of glass jars. The walls are stained in a few places where some dye splashed years ago. We don’t bother painting over it because it would just happen again anyway. We have a few workers who have been here since the start. We all wear boots and gloves because you have to be careful in this line of work. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s what we know how to do. Nandeshari is a bit far out, but it's where the industry is, so we stay here. We don't have any big mission statements or goals to change the world. We just want to make sure the batches come out the right shade and the customers are satisfied with what they get. Some days are long, especially when we have to clean out the mixing tanks. We just get through it and start again the next morning. It is a lot of hard work, but we are used to the routine by now.
