N P Auto Enterprise

You can find N P Auto Enterprise over in Vadodara on the Tingre Nagar Road at shop S 1. It’s a place that smells like engine oil and old tires. We have tools scattered across the benches and some half-finished projects in the corners. The floor is stained with grease but that’s just how an auto shop is supposed to look. We spend our time looking at engines and trying to figure out where that weird clicking sound is coming from. Tingre Nagar Road is always busy so there is a lot of noise coming from the street while we work. We have a lot of spare parts stored on the high shelves like filters and spark plugs. Sometimes a customer comes in looking for a specific bolt and we have to dig through a bucket to find it. The S 1 unit is right on the edge of the building so we get a bit of a breeze if the wind is right. We have a small desk where we keep the receipts and a calendar with some dates circled. It’s a tough job on the back and the hands stay dirty no matter how much soap we use. We just like fixing things and seeing the cars drive away sounding better than they did when they arrived. Sometimes we have to wait a few days for a part to arrive by courier but that is just part of the business.
