Multichem

Multichem is over in Nandesari, right at Plot No 104 in the GIDC area of Fertilizer Nagar. Being in an industrial zone like Nandesari means we are surrounded by all kinds of plants and factories. Our plot is a functional space where we handle different chemical supplies for the industries around us. It’s a gritty environment, with trucks moving in and out of the GIDC gates all day long. We have a decent-sized warehouse where we store our barrels and sacks. The office is just a small corner with a couple of desks and a lot of logbooks. We spend most of our time coordinating with drivers and checking the weights of the chemicals coming in. It’s not a glamorous job, but it’s important for the local supply chain. We’ve been operating out of Plot 104 for a while now, so we know the layout of Fertilizer Nagar like the back of our hand. The roads can be dusty and the air smells a bit like sulfur sometimes, but that’s standard for Nandesari. We don't bother with fancy presentations or slick talk. We just focus on the inventory and making sure the right chemicals get to the right factory when they ask for them. It’s hard work, often in the heat, but we have a steady rhythm that keeps the place going every day. We usually close up shop once the sun goes down and the last truck leaves.
