M/S Suthradhar Architects is located in Zarolawaga, Dabhoi. It’s a place in Gujarat with a lot of history. Our office is right there in the middle of things. We spend our days drawing and looking at maps. Architecture is a slow process, but we enjoy the rhythm of it. The building we’re in is an older one, which fits what we do perfectly. It has high ceilings and stays cool in the summer heat. We don’t have a lot of fancy technology, just the basic tools we need to get the drawings right. People in Dabhoi know where to find us. We aren't a big firm with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us who like design. We talk to people about their houses or shops. It’s practical work. We don't use many technical terms when we talk to clients. We just explain how things will look once they are built. The area around 391110 is where we grew up, so we know the local style very well. Sometimes we have to travel to different sites, but we always come back here to finish the plans. It’s a modest setup. We don't have a big sign outside, just a small plate with the name. We like keeping things simple and honest. Sometimes the local kids play outside our window. It's a nice place to work.
