Our office is in the Radha Kishan Apartments right across from Deep Chambers in Manjalpur. Vadodara is a good place to work, but it gets incredibly hot in the summer months. Here at the ECC division, we handle a lot of the logistical side of things. The apartment is mostly filled with files, maps, and binders full of project details. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy art on the walls. It is a working space through and through. We have a small group of people here who have been working together for quite some time now. We know each other's habits and how we like our tea. Most of our day is spent making sure the schedules are met and the supplies are moving to the right places. We don't go in for big corporate talk. We just speak plainly about what needs to happen next. Sometimes the paperwork piles up and we have to stay late to finish it, but that’s just part of the job. Manjalpur is a busy area, so there is always noise from the street below. We are just a local branch trying to keep things organized. It’s practical work and it requires a lot of patience. We just keep our heads down and focus on the tasks at hand, making sure nothing gets missed in the daily shuffle of construction life.
