Miranda Amsaw (P) Ltd.

Miranda Amsaw (P) Ltd. is located at 905, G.I.D.C. Industrial Estate. This is a big area with lots of similar-looking buildings, so you really have to look for the number 905 specifically. We’ve been operating out of this G.I.D.C. plot for several years now. The workspace is large and open, which is necessary for the type of saws and equipment we use every day. It is a loud environment to work in. You have to shout sometimes just to be heard over the sound of the cutting. We all wear ear protection, of course. The floor is made of concrete and is usually covered in a bit of metal dust by the end of the shift. We have a small area partitioned off for the office work. It is just a couple of old computers and some metal filing cabinets. We don't have air conditioning in the main workshop, just big windows that we keep open. The breeze helps a bit when it's blowing. The crew here is like a family. We eat our lunch together in the shade outside when the weather is nice. Miranda Amsaw isn't about fancy presentations or selling things. We just focus on getting the cuts right for every job. It is a tough job and the days are often long. We usually leave around six or seven in the evening. G.I.D.C. starts to quiet down then. We lock up and do it all again.
