At Micro Devices Metrohm Ltd., we spend our days working with all kinds of lab instruments and technical devices. Our office is tucked away at 1 Giribaug, which is right behind Centre Point on R.C. Dutt Road. It’s a good location, though sometimes people miss the turn because they’re looking at the bigger buildings on the main road. Being behind Centre Point makes it a little quieter, which is nice when you're trying to focus on technical specs. We aren’t a huge operation with hundreds of people; we’re a smaller team that knows our equipment inside and out. The office is full of boxes, manuals, and testing tools. It’s definitely a workspace, not a showroom. We don’t worry too much about having the latest office furniture or a fancy lobby. We care more about making sure the devices we handle are working perfectly for the labs that use them. R.C. Dutt Road is a busy area, so there are always plenty of places to grab a quick bite during lunch. We’ve been here for a while, and we’ve gotten to know the other business owners around Giribaug. It’s a friendly enough atmosphere. We don’t use a lot of big words or corporate talk. We just explain how the machines work and help people out when they have trouble. It’s basic, honest work that keeps us coming in every morning.
