Meenakshi Transport Company

Meenakshi Transport Company is located out in Sayajipura on PM Road. We are set up right opposite the APMC Market, so there is always a lot of movement with the trucks and the loaders coming and going at all hours of the day. It’s a dusty part of town because of all the heavy vehicles, but that is just how it is in the transport business. My family has been doing this for a long time. We don't have a glossy office with air conditioning everywhere. It’s mostly just a place to park, check the manifests, and talk to the drivers. The tea stall nearby is where we spend a lot of our time waiting for the market to open or for a shipment to arrive. The PM Road gets really congested in the early morning, so you have to be careful coming in. We keep a few chairs outside for when the weather is nice, though it’s usually quite hot during the summer months. There is always a pile of tires or some spare parts sitting in the corner of the lot. It isn't a place for meetings in suits. We wear our work clothes and deal with the dust and grease every day. Being across from the APMC Market means we never have a quiet moment, but we like the energy of it. It’s just how we live and work here in Sayajipura. We’ve been at this address for years now and know everyone.
