Matanghi Chemicals

We spend most of our time here on Sampige Road, right by the 1st Cross. It’s a busy spot in Dhanlaxmi, especially with the Varjdham Mandir Road traffic always moving outside. The building is number 24. Most days it’s just us moving stuff around, checking the inventory of chemicals we keep on the shelves. It gets a bit dusty sometimes. We’ve been at this for a bit. The neighbors know us by now. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that. Just a practical workspace where things get done. You can see the temple from the corner. Sometimes the smell of the stuff we handle is quite strong, but you get used to it after a year or two. We open up early because that’s when the deliveries usually show up. There’s a lot of paperwork to deal with, and sometimes the rain makes the road a mess, but we manage. People stop by to ask for things and we see what we have in the back. It’s just how things go here in Asoj. It’s not always quiet, but it’s our routine. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who know where everything is kept. The 1st Cross is a tight turn for the bigger trucks, so that’s always a bit of a headache. But we’ve lived with it for a long time.
