We are up on the third floor, unit 311, in the Atlantis Heights building. It is located on Sarabhai Main Road in the Vadiwadi area. The building looks quite modern from the outside, but once you get inside our office, it is just a normal place where we work on instruments. We have been here for a bit, and the space is mostly taken up by workbenches and storage cabinets. Sarabhai Main Road is usually packed with traffic, so you can hear the honking all day long if the windows are open. We keep them closed mostly to keep the dust off the equipment. The team at Mars Edpal is pretty small, and we have all been working together for a long time now. We do not really have a fancy waiting room; if someone comes to visit, they usually just pull up a chair by one of the desks. It is a busy atmosphere with a lot of tinkering and testing going on. The lighting is a bit bright, which helps with the detailed work we do. At the end of the day, we just lock up and navigate the stairs or the elevator down to the busy street. It is a solid place to work, even if it gets a bit cramped when we have new stock arriving. We usually just work through the day and try to stay on top of all the various tasks that pile up on our desks.
