About Fibre And Fibre Glass Products – Engineering in Vadodara
Working with fiber and fiberglass here at Plot No. 731 in the GIDC Estate means you always end up with a bit of dust on your clothes by the end of the shift. We’ve been set up here for several years. The space isn't the biggest, but we make it work for the molding and cutting. It’s a lot of hands-on labor, really. You have to be careful with the resins because the smell stays with you. We keep the big doors open to let the air move through, especially during the summer months when it feels like a furnace inside. Most of the guys have been with us since we opened. We know the neighbors at the other plots, and we often share a quick word when we’re loading the delivery van. It’s a busy corner of the estate. Sometimes the shipments get delayed, and we just have to sit tight and wait. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around, we just want to get the fiberglass parts done right so they don't come back. The floors are a bit stained from the materials, but we try to keep things organized. Usually, we wrap up around six and head home. It’s honest work, and it keeps us busy. You can find us right there at 731 if you’re looking. The high windows let in some sunlight, but they're mostly covered in a thin layer of white dust. We have an old radio that plays local stations, providing some background noise while we work. It’s just the way things are here.
